South Korean opposition leader Lee Jae-myung was injured in a knife attack. The opposition leader was attacked with knives while visiting the port city of Busan. The knife attack was on the neck of the 59-year-old South Korean opposition leader.
Lee Jae-Myung went to Busan to observe the construction of an airport in the city. A group of journalists also surrounded him. Suddenly, a person in the crowd attacked the opposition leader’s neck with a knife. The opposition leader’s supporters immediately grabbed and threw him on the ground.

Lee Jae-Myung is believed to have carried out the stabbing as a protest. The attacker is in police custody.
