The Afghan Taliban government has decided to ban women’s salons in Afghanistan. It is according to their own strict Sharia law. According to the foreign media, the beauty salons run by women in the capital of Kabul and several other provinces, limited to women only, will be closed.
The order to ban women’s salons was issued by the Afghan Taliban government’s Ministry of ‘Protection of Morals’. Currently, there are many restrictions on women and girls in Afghanistan. Girls’ education is prohibited, and women are also prohibited from working. (Reuters)
