The results of the survey conducted by the World Food Program on food insecurity in Sri Lanka have been published.

According to the relevant report, it is stated that 79% of households in Sri Lanka are tempted to consume cheap food regardless of nutrition.

Also, 49% have reduced the amount of food consumed, 39% have reduced the number of meals and 37% of the population of this country is suffering from severe food insecurity, according to the relevant reports.

The survey conducted by the World Food Program has revealed that 4 out of every 10 households do not get enough food.
