President Ranil Wickremesinghe has emphasized that the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement with Singapore is a prime objective of his government.
The Presidential Media Division stated that the President had mentioned this today (27) in a special discussion with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Tokyo.
The Prime Minister of Singapore expressed his appreciation for the President’s program to alleviate the economic crisis in Sri Lanka and further stated that Singapore is expected to invest in Sri Lanka once again.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has invited the Prime Minister of Singapore to participate in the 75th Independence Anniversary of Sri Lanka to be held next year.
