President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s Presidential policy manifesto will be launched at the Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo today. The event will take place at 9.30 am.
The manifesto titled “Puluwan Sri Lanka” (A Capable Sri Lanka), is centered around the vision of leading the country out of bankruptcy and towards economic prosperity, with a gradual plan to transform
Sri Lanka into a developed nation. A senior government spokesperson stated that the primary goal of the “Puluwan Sri Lanka” policy statement is to build a better country for all segments of Sri Lankan society. The policy statement focuses on taking the next steps forward for Sri Lanka, which has begun to recover from one of the most severe economic crises in its history, the spokesperson added.
The manifesto of Samagi Jana Sandhanaya Presidential candidate, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will be launched at the Queen’s Hotel in Kandy today (29).
Kandy District MP and Opposition Chief Whip Lakshman Kiriella, said that MPs Dr. Harsha de Silva, Kabir Hashim, Eran Wickramaratne and others who contributed to prepare the manifesto will participate in this event.
Kiriella further said that Sajith Premadasa will present the manifesto to the Mahanayake Thera’s of the Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters in the afternoon.
