Public health inspectors have decided to withdraw from dengue control duties from today (15). It is said that they have taken this action to seek solutions to several professional problems including a non-increase in transport allowances.

The Public Health Inspector’s Union of Sri Lanka further stated that they have informed the Secretary of the Ministry of Health in a letter regarding that and future professional measures.
