State Minister for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says that there is no truth in the rumours that government employee salaries will be cut.
The State Minister stated that the government has not taken such a decision at all and is in a position to pay salaries and pensions from the entire state income.
State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya further stated that if the economy had moved in an irregular manner, there would have been a situation where public servants’ salaries would have been completely lost and there is no such situation now.
