Passport fees are up from today onwards

The fee charged for the issuance of foreign passports has been increased with effect from today (17) onwards.

According to the Immigration Department, the normal service fee for issuing passports is 5,000 rupees and the one-day service fee for issuing passports has been increased to 20,000 rupees.
