Electricity and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that electricity consumers will have the opportunity to pay in instalments when getting a new electricity connection.
Accordingly, the Minister mentioned that he will be allowed to pay about 25% of the total amount and pay the rest in 10 or 12 instalments.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera further stated that the approval of the Board of Directors has been received for that and it will be officially informed in the future.
