Minister of State for Transport Lasantha Alagiyawanna says that foreigners who need a driver’s license in Sri Lanka can apply for it at the airport from April 15th, and arrangements have been made to get the driver’s license when they come out of the airport.

The Minister of State further stated that to obtain a driver’s license for one month, $25 will be charged, $50 for three months, $75 for six months, and $200 for a year or more.
