The Police Special Task Force has arrested one of the main followers of Dematagoda Chaminda, who is a powerful drug trafficker in Sri Lanka. The suspect was arrested during a raid based on information received by the intelligence officers of the Special Task Force.
A 58-year-old resident of the Dematagoda area has been arrested. It has been revealed that he is carrying out drug trafficking under the direction of Maleesha, the son of an organized crime and drug trafficker Sirinayake Pathiranage Chaminda Ravi Jayanath aka Dematagoda Chaminda. The task force found 400 packets containing 25 grams of heroin in the suspect’s possession. (Divaina)
