Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, says that she is happy to be able to reach a working staff-level agreement to support Sri Lanka’s economic goals.
Recently, the International Monetary Fund officially announced that Sri Lanka has reached a working group level agreement with the International Monetary Fund, and the International Monetary Fund stated that an extensive funding facility of 2.9 billion dollars will be received from the International Monetary Fund in the future.
This is going to be implemented with a 48-month program.
