Manoj Vidyaratne, in charge of Yala Park, said that nine suspects were arrested in connection with the incident of driving jeeps in a way that harms animals in Yala Park.
Seven jeeps that were said to have been driven that day have been taken into the custody of the wildlife.
They are going to be produced in the Tissamaharama Magistrate’s Court today.
