Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on an official visit to Bhutan, has received a warm welcome from King Jigme Kesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan. The Prime Minister of India arrived in Bhutan’s capital Thimpu on an official visit, receiving an invitation from the King of Bhutan. A few days ago, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobge visited New Delhi.

The King of Bhutan invited the Prime Minister of India to visit Bhutan through the Prime Minister of Bhutan. The Indian general election will be held next April and Prime Minister Modi is a very busy person these days. Even so, accepting his invitation and coming to Bhutan was a reason for the praise of the King of Bhutan.

Saying that Prime Minister Modi is an exceptional leader who will lead India to prosperity, the King of Bhutan also conferred Bhutan’s highest honour on Modi. (AFP)
