The National Animal Farmers’ Union says that it will take steps to reduce the price of chicken meat by paying attention to the increase in demand for chicken meat during the upcoming festival.
According to this, steps will be taken to reduce the price of a kilogram of chicken meat to 1080 rupees, said the convener of the association, Sujeeva Dhammika.
In the meantime, the National Animal Farmers’ Union further mentioned that they are working to lower the price of eggs.
