A staff level agreement was reached between the Sri Lankan authorities and the International Monetary Fund for a comprehensive funding facility of $2.9 billion, according to the delegation of the fund that came to Sri Lanka.
According to them, it is a 48-month program and this agreement must be approved by the management and executive board of the International Monetary Fund.
