Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri says that the challenges faced by Sri Lanka internally and externally will be used as an opportunity for a new political, social and economic reform in the country.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka hopes for the support of the international community including the United Nations, the minister said.
Addressing the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabri mentioned this.
The Minister stated that many significant changes have taken place in Sri Lanka since the last United Nations General Assembly session and this is the right opportunity to realize their collective vision for the future.
