‘Munnal’, a film by Sri Lankan film director Dr Visakesa Chandrasekharam, has won a special jury award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) held in the Netherlands.
Jagath Manuvarna Kodituvakku’s debut film ‘Rahas Kiana Kandu’ won the Netpac Award at the same awards ceremony.
The Netpac Award is given to the best film in the Asian region and Sri Lanka has won this award only once before.
