She started her music career in 1950. Turner has won 8 Grammy Awards in her musical career, 6 of which were won by Tina Turner in the 1980s. More than 12 of Turner’s songs entered the top 40 of the 1980s, and the 1988 concert in Rio de Janeiro drew an audience of 180,000. (Reuters)
