The National Building Research Organization says that the landslide warning notices have been extended with the ongoing heavy rains.
Accordingly, the landslide warnings remain in effect for the districts of Kalutara, Kegalle, Galle, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.
The National Building Research Organization requests the people of Dodangoda, Ingiriya, Barallavita, Palinda Nuwara and Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Kalutara District and Ambagamuwa Korale Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Nuwara Eliya District to pay attention.
Landslide warning notices have also been issued to Kalawana, Ratnapura, Nivitigala, Eheliyagoda and Kuruvita divisional secretariat divisions in Ratnapura district and landslide warning notices have also been issued to Baddegama divisional secretariat division in Galle district.
