Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe says that the 03rd round of discussions with creditors was held yesterday (15) regarding the debt restructuring process in this country.
Accordingly, he said that it was decided to further exchange information between the government and the creditors.
Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe further stated that he explained to them the urgent need for debt restructuring and the need for the approval of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund to stabilize the economy.
