With the resignation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, there will be vacancies for both the leadership of New Zealand’s ruling Labor Party and the post of Prime Minister.
Chris Hipkins, who is currently the country’s Education Minister, Police Minister, Public Service Minister and Speaker of the House, has been nominated for that vacancy.
Accordingly, he will officially become the Prime Minister after the polls scheduled to be held tomorrow (22).
