Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena stated in the Parliament day before yesterday that it is very important to provide the facility of the interest-free loan scheme implemented by the government to pursue degree courses for higher education not only in government universities but also in private universities.
He made these comments in response to a question raised by the Leader of the Opposition. When the relevant question was raised, saying that the gazette notification for the 2021/2022 batch of the interest-free loan scheme implemented by the government to pursue degree courses for higher education has not been released yet.
