According to the National Consumer Price Index, inflation in the country in October decreased compared to last month.
Accordingly, the Department of Census and Statistics stated that the inflation in Sri Lanka which was 69.8% last September has come down to 66% in October.
Also, the department further mentions that the food inflation in this country which was reported as 94.9% in September has come down to 85.6% in October.
