The Indian team managed to win the third Twenty20 match between the visiting Sri Lankan team and the Indian team.
The Indian team, who won the toss and batted first, scored 228 runs losing only 05 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. There, Surya Kumar Yadav scored 112 runs and Shubman Gill scored 46 runs for the Indian team. In bowling, Dilshan Madhushanka took 02 wickets, and Wanindu Hasaranga, Chamika Karunaratne and Kasun Rajitha took one wicket each.
The Sri Lankan team who played the reply innings managed to score only 137 runs in 16 overs and 04 balls. Dasun Shanaka scored 23 runs and Kusal Mendis scored 23 runs for the Sri Lankan team. In bowling, Yuzvendra Chahal and skipper Hardik Pandya and Umran Malik took 02 wickets each and Arshadeep Singh took 03 wickets for the Indian team.
Accordingly, the Indian team won by 91 runs and they also won the tournament 2-1.
