The United Nations has ordered Russia to immediately withdraw the troops it had sent to invade Ukraine. A poll was held on Russia’s military action against Ukraine.
There, 141 member countries protested Russia’s military action against Ukraine. The US’s proposal to immediately bring back the Russian troops sent to Ukraine was supported by those countries.
The number of countries supporting Russia is 93. China and India abstained.
The adoption of this new resolution on Russia at the United Nations comes a year after Russia adopted military action against Ukraine. (AFP)
