Ceylon Petroleum Corporation decided to reduce the price of 4 types of fuel from midnight yesterday (30). Accordingly, a litre of Ceylon Petrol Octane 92 has been reduced by Rs. 7, a litre of Ceylon Petrol Octane 95 by Rs. 10, a litre of Ceylon White Diesel by Rs. 15 and a litre of Ceylon Super Diesel by Rs. 135. Accordingly, the new price of a litre of Ceylon Petrol Octane 92 is Rs. 333. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation said that the new price of a litre of Lanka petrol 95 octane is 365 rupees, the new price of a litre of Lanka white diesel is 310 rupees and the latest price of a litre of Lanka super diesel is 330 rupees.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation further stated that the price of a litre of Ceylon kerosene is still at 295 rupees and the price of a litre of Ceylon industrial kerosene is still at 330 rupees. (Lankadeepa)
