Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to resign from his position as a Member of Parliament.
The Prime Minister of Britain is held by the leader of the ruling party. During the last ‘Covid’ pandemic, while serving as Prime Minister, Johnson held honeymoon parties in his home in violation of the rules imposed by the health department.
As it fell into disfavour, Johnson lost the party leadership as well as the Prime Ministership. Regarding the violation of health laws, the Parliamentary Privileges Committee has started an investigation. The media has reported that Johnson decided to resign from the post of MP. (Reuters)
