Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage has today (21) ordered that the former president of Sathosa, Wenura Gunawardena, be released on bail.
The Criminal Investigation Department had arrested Sathosa on suspicion of defrauding over 31 lakh rupees and presented him to the court.
Accordingly, the magistrate today ordered that Wenura Gunawardena be released on a cash bail of fifty thousand rupees and two personal sureties of 10 million rupees each.
