The US Air Force has started airdropping food and essential supplies to the starving Palestinians in Gaza, displaced by Israeli attacks.
This is the first time that the United States has taken steps to provide the Palestinians with food and essential supplies since the start of the Israeli-Hamas conflict.
The American military said that yesterday (2) three C-130 type aeroplanes dropped about 30,000 food bags into the Gaza Strip.
The United States took this decision last Thursday after more than 100 Palestinians who gathered near a line of food trucks and scrambled to eat were killed in an attack by Israeli forces. More than 700 people were injured in the shooting.
