The Presidential Media Division says that the government has taken steps to ensure the regular and continuous distribution of kerosene for the fishing community.
Accordingly, it is stated that the President Director General (Community Affairs) Keerthi Tennakoon has sent a special awareness letter dated November 22, 2022, to the District Secretaries, Provincial Fisheries Ministry Secretaries and Provincial Cooperative Ministry Secretaries.
Accordingly, the government has decided to release 50 fuel bowsers each day to meet the fishermen’s kerosene needs.
