President Ranil Wickremesinghe chaired a preliminary discussion on opportunities for Australian investors to invest in Sri Lanka’s renewable energy sector at the President’s Office today (14).
The Presidential Media Division stated that a group of investors including the Australian High Commissioner attended the discussion.
As a solution to the current electricity crisis and to ensure continuous electricity supply, the government has given priority to encouraging new investments in the renewable energy sector.
