The All Ceylon Egg Producers Association says that it has been decided to sell local eggs by kilos.
Sarath Ratnayake, the president of the association stated that today (04) the sale of local eggs by kilos will be started first in the central province and it has been decided to sell eggs at a price of 80 cents per gram.
Accordingly, he further mentioned that he hopes to sell the eggs to the bakery owners in the Central Province.
