The Public Utilities Commission says that it will take a decision next Friday on the proposal submitted by the Electricity Board regarding the revision of the existing electricity tariffs.
Accordingly, its chairman Professor Manjula Fernando stated that the commission will meet on the 30th Friday and take a decision.
The public consultation on the proposal submitted by the Electricity Board was concluded yesterday (27).
