The petitioner’s lawyers have informed the Supreme Court today (20) that it is not necessary to consider the petition filed requesting that the local government election be postponed before the 23rd.
Accordingly, it is stated that the Supreme Court has been scheduled to be convened on the 23rd as previously scheduled to consider the relevant petition.
A retired army colonel has submitted this writ petition requesting an order to postpone the local government polls.
