Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe says that the current inflation in Sri Lanka will rise to 70% in the next few months.
The Governor of the Central Bank mentioned that a program should be implemented to protect low-income families in Sri Lanka who are affected by this, and that small and medium-scale businessmen may also be affected by this.
Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe further stated that the interest rates will be increased to control the existing inflation.
