The police say they will start a special program today (22) to identify drivers who commit traffic offences in the Colombo area through CCTV cameras.
Accordingly, it is stated that it will be implemented as a pilot project in Colombo City from today till the 31st.
Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Advocate Nihal Talduwa said that fine papers will be issued after January 31.
