The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the revision of the flight transit fees charged for international flights flying over the Colombo Flight Information Zone.
The relevant cabinet decision states that these fees have not been revised by the Airport and Air Services Private Limited Company after the year 1985.
Accordingly, it is stated that the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the revision of the currently charged fees to be effective from the 1st of February.
