The police say that around 80 houses have been destroyed in a fire that broke out in a row of houses in the Totalanga – Kajimawatte area.The fire which broke out last night (27th) has been brought under control by the firefighting unit, the police and the army.The police said that no casualties or injuries were reported in the fire and 220 people from 80 families were displaced.
