Foreign media have reported that Walter Cunningham, the only surviving American astronaut of the three American astronauts who participated in NASA’s Apollo 7 mission in 1968, has also passed away.
The first time humans set foot on the moon was during the ‘Apollo 11’ mission. It was preceded by the ‘Apollo 7’ mission. Apollo 7 did not go to the moon.
The other two astronauts involved in the ‘Apollo 7’ mission are Walter Shira and Don Issell. (Reuters)
