The Sacred Exposition of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha (Siri Dalada Vandanawa) is scheduled to be held at the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) in Kandy from 18 April 2025 to 27 April 2025.
The sacred festival held with the hope of invoking blessings for timely rains, national prosperity, unity, peace and also aims to foster a virtuous society. Ultimately, this religious event aspires to serve as a turning point in the Buddhist revival by nurturing a more disciplined and respectable society.
To realise this noble intention, troops of the Sri Lanka Army have extended their support under the guidance of the Commander of the Army.
In this endeavour, troops of all Divisions, Brigades and Battalions under the 11 Infantry Division of the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) are preparing various necessary facilities for the devotees arriving to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic.
