The ICC Cricket Hall of Fame or the title of honour given to the greatest players in the history of cricket has been awarded to Aravinda de Silva, the former great batsman of this country.
Accordingly, it is stated that this was awarded at a ceremony held in Mumbai, India, during the World Cup cricket tournament.
Aravinda de Silva, who has played 93 Tests and 308 ODIs, has scored 15,645 runs and has scored 31 centuries and 86 fifties in Tests and ODIs.

He was the captain of the 1996 World Cup victory and scored 107 unbeaten runs against Australia in the final.
