As the first phase, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has given the approval to double the fuel quota for three-wheelers.
Accordingly, the registration of tricycles in the Western Province will begin on November 01 and the provision of QR code fuel based on the new increased quota will begin from November 06, the Presidential Media Division stated.
It is scheduled to be implemented in phases for other provinces in the future.
