China has given the aid of 5,000 metric tons of rice to Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the delivery of the relevant rice stock has been done at the Ministry of Economy and Education.
Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong and Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha and others have joined this event.
As another sign of the friendship of the people of China, the Chinese government is going to provide rice aid to nearly ten lakh students under this food program.
