Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says that a stock of 12,000 metric tons of fertilizer will be received in the country in a few weeks for the farmers who cultivate in the high season.
Accordingly, the minister mentioned that the fertilizers needed for the season will be provided to the farmers at the right time.
Minister Mahinda Amaraweera further stated that apart from paddy cultivation, fertilizers will be provided to the farmers for other crops and the private sector has agreed to provide them at a lower price than the previous price.
