The Disaster Management Center says that another minor earthquake with a magnitude of 2.3 on the Richter scale was reported from Buttala, Wellawaya area at around 3 am today.
A small earthquake of 3.0 on the Richter scale was reported in several areas of the Monaragala district yesterday.
The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) says there is no danger and urges everyone to remain calm and avoid undue panic.
