Myanmar’s pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who was convicted by a military court on bribery charges, was sentenced to another three years in prison.

Accordingly, Suu Kyi’s prison term will be extended to 26 years. Suu Kyi, 77, was also found guilty of all charges of bribery.

Meanwhile, Aung San Suu Kyi has insisted that she has not done anything wrong. Suu Kyi has been accused of several other corruption charges, and trials are scheduled to be held in connection with them.
