The police say that the reason for the sudden respiratory distress of 43 girls in a girls’ school in Matale has not been revealed yet.
According to the police, 43 girls from a girls’ school in the Koombiangoda area of Matale were suddenly hospitalized yesterday morning (15th) due to respiratory problems, while another 14 girls are still receiving treatment in the hospital.
Accordingly, the Matale Police have started an investigation regarding this incident.
