Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe said that an appeal will be submitted to the International Cricket Council regarding the decision to ban cricket in Sri Lanka.
He said this at a news conference held in Colombo today.
He also mentioned that they would ask why Sri Lankan cricket was banned out of malice.
The minister said that there was no political pressure or interference on the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute and said that the entire parliament had unanimously approved that the administrators of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute should go home.
