In conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly session, a meeting was held between the American Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is participating in that session.
The purpose of the meeting was the crisis created between America and China based on Taiwan. The crisis began when US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan despite China’s objections.
The Speaker of the American House of Representatives visited Taiwan and addressed the Taiwanese Parliament. There she emphasized that Taiwan has the full support of America. (Reuters)
